Spa World, Osaka

3.7
#1 of 18 in Spas in Osaka
Bathe in the hot springs of Spa World, a vast onsen-style bathhouse with two themed floors used by women and men interchangeably, depending on the month of the year. When bathing in the European zone, you can enjoy spa activities, such as the Finnish sauna and ice baths, before trying out the Greek mud bath or relaxing on a submerged deck chair in the Mediterranean pool. Similarly, in the Asian zone, you’ll find a traditional Japanese bathhouse, Persian milk baths, and Balinese massages. Clothing and tattoos are prohibited in the baths, although you can wear swimsuits in the mixed-gender pool and baths on the top floor. Make Spa World a centerpiece of your Osaka vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Osaka trip itinerary builder.

I went earlier in the winter, was childless, so doing pool in the summer. The result was a fiasco. First is the pool is busy and enjoy at all. Also clientele and families a lot, but many groups of young people, and occasionally some rule violations, was not feeling too comfortable. The pool is crowded, so bath natural crowd and was adequate on the whole. I'd thought about eating past 7:00 Finally, guest high school came to the dining space in large quantities, had a large matrix. Doesn't work at all matrix and turning the kitchen with a few people and waited about 30 minutes, so give up, I went back. I felt store side, does not increase the number of people in the kitchen even when crowded, but I also didn't cook book group on customer problems and also has a problem. With no large pool, so you could go to a much larger pool is crowded anyway if I felt my house is summer here does not go to the

Two days ago, friends and children take on summer weekdays. There is conducted according to the open, just at a little order, check-in? Even a little, it took about 10 minutes. Immediately change the pool children to. When you are already people, people, people. Slider, chilly wait for barn 30 minutes. Panic turned the 120-minute wait. Bought a free pass for the slider is the panic turned gave the ride seems, would pass this time. I, from 11 o'clock to the hot springs... Hot Springs was empty. In a few. Children, during the two retiring from the pool. I second round trip. Indeed it was crowded hot springs. It is no help during the summer vacation. I think I want to go slowly in the off season.

We went yesterday from about 8 to 11:30 pm. It was amazing!! We paid 1000円 to get in and then you need 2 100円 coins for the shoe locker and clothes locker, which you get back. Women can use the European themed baths on odd numbered months and the Asian themed baths on even numbered months, men vice versus. The baths and saunas were really nice. I also paid 2900円 for a 20 minute salt scrub which was amazing! My skin feels sooo smooth. One of the sauna rooms is a salt room, so you can scrub yourself with salt too if you would like. It was possibly my favourite part of my Osaka trip!

Good experience, only come if you like japanese style onsen. As expected you will be soaking nude. There are many different styles and temperature of onsens. So you try any and all that you like. They have sauna and cool rooms. You can stay overnight here aswell. Definately worth a visit.

Lovely place to relax in onsen, get a massage, and play in the water park. I would have liked more coed hot pools.

Plan for a whole day!!! It's great. The saunas, the hot springs, the spa treatments.... everything is amazing. A relaxing atmosphere everywhere you go.

It's fun, a little kitschy but the men's side was fun. My wife said the women's side was loud with kids and anime on the tvs had the volume turned up. The facilities were nice though and we had fun, just not as good as maybe a smaller traditional hot spring

Where to stay in Osaka

The majority of Osaka's moderate and expensive accommodations concentrate in the districts of Umeda, Kyobashi, Namba, and Shin-Osaka. Base your stay in or near Minami neighborhood for proximity to a wide selection of shopping and dining options. For quick access to long-distance transportation to other cities and areas, look for hotels in Kita district. Many backpackers prefer the budget options in the Tennoji area, where the quality of rooms and prices vary wildly--call or check websites of specific establishments before you make reservations.
