Founded in the 16th century, the small city of Ramallah has built a reputation as the "Cultural Capital of the West Bank," known for its open-minded religious attitude.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Masjid-e-Khalil Mosque and The Samaritan Museum. Step off the beaten path and head to Climbing Tours and Jacob's Well. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ramallah: Bethlehem (Sanctuary Bethlehem, Mosque of Omar, & more), Albader Soap Factory (in Nablus) and Shomron National Park (in Sebastia). On the 21st (Thu), spend a day of history-infused exploration at Ein Prat Nature Reserve (Wadi Qelt). And it doesn't end there: indulge your thirst for a good beer at Birzeit Brewery, examine the collection at Mahmoud Darwish Museum, steep yourself in history at Tel es-Sultan, and don't miss a visit to Hisham's Palace.

Nablus to Ramallah is an approximately half hour bus ride. You can also drive. Traveling from Nablus in September, Ramallah is slightly colder at night with lows of 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Sat) so you can take a bus back home.
