  • Having spent many trips to Dubai over the last few years I had yet to experience the Burj. It certainly disappoint. Opulent, vulgar, flashy, wonderful are all words that could be used to describe this...  more »
  • Definitely a stunning hotel unlike any other I’ve seen. You can only go to the hotel if you’re a guest or have dinner reservations. (Understandably.) So yes, a beautiful hotel indeed, but for the majo...  more »

  • Visited Burj Al Arab, before going inside you will need to book a reservation in any restaurant if you are not staying in the hotel. The security is really good as you will get checked twice before entering. Casual smart dress. The building is beautiful and the location is amazing. If you are interested in architecture/civil engineering then this is the place you need to visit and see the amazing work and details inside. • Excellent seven star hotel. Superb experience. Amazing views from this hotel. Several features of the hotel required complex engineering feats to achieve. The hotel rests on an artificial island constructed 280 m (920 ft) offshore. To secure a foundation, the builders drove 230 forty-meter-long (130 ft) concrete piles into the sand. The Burj Al Arab is a five-star hotel, the highest official ranking. While the hotel is sometimes erroneously described as "the world's only seven-star hotel", the hotel management claims to never have done that themselves.
  • Hotel is fabulous didn't stay there but booked cocktails for an evening, would definitely recommend and would do it again! Views are spectacular at sunset and the hotel is filled with opulence. The cocktail evening gives you the opportunity to experience the hotel without needing to be a guest at the hotel. Cannot get into the hotel without a reservation so book beforehand.
  • I made my sunset dinner reservation for my family through the zomato app & I got my confirmation through email.  The Burj Al Arab is a stunning hotel and scale restaurant is simply amazing. .The location is stunning, situated at the back of the Burj, with views back to the Jumeirah hotels and Dubai city, it truly is lovely at night. From the minute we arrived to the venue was fantastic. The welcome was so warm and friendly.Manager was so helpful & such a pleasant lady. My special night start with such a great experience.. I was very happy with the BBQ Chicken,  I have never tasted chicken like it. . The waiters and waitresses were professional and knowledgeable regarding the products and menu. The quality of the food was excellent and the ambience was superb. Thank you for making this a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this place for a great night out and unforgettable dinner for my family.
  • Nestled along the shores of the Persian Gulf, Dubai has grown to become a global center for trade, innovation and luxury. The completion of the Burj Al Arab Hotel forever changed Dubai's skyline, when the hotel, towering more than 1,000 feet in the air, opened in December of 1999 after five years of construction. The architecture of the Burj Al Arab is so innovative that the hotel is often considered one of the most distinctive hotels in the world

Where to stay in Dubai

Dubai is a city of hotels, with most of the world's leading chains represented. Rooms remain expensive and luxurious, as most establishments cater to visitors with deeper pockets. You can still save money on accommodations if you look hard enough. Move away from the coast for more affordable backpacker hostels and self-service apartments, as well as less expensive hotel rooms where a lack of luxurious amenities and less appealing views keep rates suited to budget travelers.
