Emirates Towers, Dubai

4.5
#41 of 516 in Things to do in Dubai
Admire two examples of contemporary architecture at Emirates Towers, a complex boasting two large skyscrapers. Completed in 2000, the towers measure 355 m (1,165 ft) and 309 m (1,014 ft); one is a hotel, the other features office space. Joined by a large retail complex at their feet, the twin towers mirror one another neatly, creating a bold impression on the city's busy skyline. Explore the structures from multiple angles by taking a walk through the ample grounds at their base, enjoying the manicured gardens, lakes, and waterfalls that surround them. • An excelete hotel, we stayed on our trip in 2012 and I loved it. I wanted to go back this year but the agency hired another. Next year I'll be back and reserve directly. It has everything from an excellent hotel, good rooms, restaurants, swimming pools, spa etc.

  • I had no idea that there were these two towers in Dubai. Office and I think the residences and hotels, to shoot from outside.

  • This is my first time in Dubai. When you are searching for an hotel it is hard to choose. I picked the Emirates Towers. It is a magnificent hotel and the staff are brilliant. Nothing is a bother to them, they are all so helpful. Whatever you want or wherever you wish to go, they will go out of their way to make it happens. I cannot say enough about this location and the staff.
  • Consider the ETs as one of Dubai's key landmarks. Beautiful architecture and easily accessible. Worth the visit. You can check out the hotel's lobby but unfortunately the panoramic elevator is not accessible to non hotel residence unless you have a booking at the top floor bar. My favorite restaurant there is the Noodle House. It is licensed.
  • Just perfect. Jumeirah Emirates Towers is the place where they know how to spoil people seriously! Complimentary access to Wild Wadi and Jumeirah Beach
  • By now a classic location full of excellence especially for the business traveler and beyond . Emirates Towers set the standards when they were built and remain as an iconic location today
  • The men's bathroom look and smell like a crime scene. I wanted to puke .

Where to stay in Dubai

Dubai is a city of hotels, with most of the world's leading chains represented. Rooms remain expensive and luxurious, as most establishments cater to visitors with deeper pockets. You can still save money on accommodations if you look hard enough. Move away from the coast for more affordable backpacker hostels and self-service apartments, as well as less expensive hotel rooms where a lack of luxurious amenities and less appealing views keep rates suited to budget travelers.
