  • Already on the outside you realize the icons of New York, when entering you will find bars, restaurants and the Casino. The hotel even has one roller coaster pacing the sides of outside and inside the hotel and is a very good experience!

  • My wife and I went to 16 casinos while in Vegas for a week. This was the only casino where the waitress would not bring us each a drink unless we were both playing machines. All the other casinos didn...  more »

  • By far my favorite hotel-casino on the Vegas Strip. The attention to detail never fails to blow me away. They've created an entire village inside that houses quick bites in an adorable way. Looks like little apartment and store fronts you'd see wandering through NYC. SO cute. Great accommodations: clean, comfy rooms, good dining, friendly and helpful staff, and fun activities like the arcade and roller coaster. Seriously the best place to stay for families in Vegas! So much to do and so cute and fun!!
  • I'm part of M-LIFE membership SO to be honest, I get a decent discount @ GOLD level. However, it's a great place to stay because I can get behind the NYC Experience they try to deliver. I'm NOT into super luxurious rooms although they're available for sure. The hotel room is mainly a place to sleep soundly and change clothes for dinner and / or clubbing. The room I ALWAYS get is clean, spacious and quiet. The casino is busy without being too loud or crazy. There's a nice selection of slightly upscale restaurants for ALL types of dining. I ALWAYS Hit up the health SPA to get pampered and relaxed. It's conveniently located on the strip. It's NOT the MOST luxurious BUT it's probably got the best of everything ALL around for me!
  • Wonderful 4-star hotel, with a 'New York City'-vibe/theme (obviously) throughout. Recently stayed up on the 33rd floor there, during my 'mini-vacation' for 3 days with my girlfriend, and boy, WHAT a VIEW from up there! The 'New York New York' Hotel is entirely self-contained....plenty of restaurants (the food at the Italian pizza shop inside the hotel proper there was EXCELLENT, by the way! Try it, you won't be sorry!) to choose from in the hotel proper, as well as a plethora of convenience stores, gift shops, snack shops, bars, gambling/casino areas, etc.! Our room was VERY nice, and featured a full-size wardrobe with hangers, a large bed, a large flat screen TV, writing desk, two VERY comfortable club chairs, etc. The bathroom was well stocked, with plenty of towels, washcloths, bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The bathroom also featured a built-in hair dryer, and a built-in shaving/makeup mirror, which my girlfriend loved! All the staff we encountered there were VERY NICE and hospitable, the hotel proper AND our room were both VERY clean, bright and inviting throughout - so, we've decided to make the 'New York New York' Hotel, OUR hotel, when we return to Las Vegas! We cannot WAIT to go back for another mini-vacation in May, 2018! Why the 4-star rating? 2 reasons: Everything is SO expensive (although that's not just a 'New York New York' Hotel issue, it's a Las Vegas-WIDE issue)! I wish the shower in our room would have had a 'detachable' showerhead, like we have in our shower at home. Honestly, we missed having that one, simple amenity during our stay - just saying! We'll be back real soon, 'New York New York' Hotel, and thanks for the memories (so far)!
  • Check in was pretty hectic. My room wasn't ready and they said they would text when it was. It never happened. Wandered around and enjoyed the strip with my group and when we got back at 10pm I checked at the desk to discover my room was ready and they'd neglected to notify me. They comped a night for the error! Amazing customer service!! The hotel room was clean and the pillows are amazing. The bathrooms need some serious updating as the fixtures are chipped and you can tell things are getting a bit older. Beds are comfortable if you prefer a mattress on the more firm side. The restaurants in the hotel are amazing. If you get breakfast at the Italian restaurant don't forget to mention you're staying at the hotel because breakfast is two for one.
  • What an awesome place! Didn't stay as a guest but I visited the casino many a time. Shops are awesome, food is even better. The mini New York streets inside are fun to walk around. The outside of the hotel and casino is easily one of the most beautiful and fun places to look at and take photos. Gaming arcade inside so a great place to stay if you're bringing younger family. Generally amazing property, but I didn't stay here so I can't rate the rooms.

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
