The Mirage, Las Vegas

3.7
#16 of 64 in Casinos in Las Vegas
In keeping with the Polynesian theme prevalent throughout the rest of the hotel, The Mirage offers rows and rows of casino games and slot machines placed among lush palm trees and exotic flora. The casino offers many table games, such as blackjack, ultimate Texas hold 'em, and Mississippi stud. The casino is a bit smaller compared to its neighboring counterparts, offering a less overwhelming and more intimate experience. • I gambled on the 5.00 slots and never lost $$ more quickly. $300.00 BYE!!! Really tight!! Do waste your money here! Never won once in 300.00!  more »
  • You enter the Hall and begins to enjoy the decor. Playground wide, facilities in conditions (though already a certain renewal suit you) the best of this casino is still the spectacle of the volcano on the outside of the casino, with a show of water, fire and music. THE show is every hour at night and I recommend,

  • This Casino, as well as Mirage hotel, seemed not so luxurious but very wide. Colorful carpets, lots of machines and all very tidy, (at least at the time in which we were) as well as public, impeccable bathrooms. We entered through the lobby full of beautiful flowers and plants and also telephone booths I loved London-style that are part of the decoration. Proper care personnel from the area.

  • Great atmosphere! The rooms were clean and attended to daily. No included refrigeration, coffee maker, or microwave, so come prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffets were fairly good quality and excellent variety. I'd stay there again if given the opportunity.
  • Rooms are slightly outdated, strange audio ports and switches that control nothing. Beautiful amenities. Spa was luxurious, I had a facial and manicure. Great girls day. Painting with the dolphins is an incredible experience. Highly recommend it. My dolphin made painting is priceless. Good sized casino with lots of options. Try the matzo ball soup at the deli, amazing!
  • The Mirage Hotel and Casino is an amazing place to stay when visiting Las Vegas! A must stay hotel! Aside from the fact that it has everything you would want in Vegas, great food, great restaurants, a lot of bars, a large casino, live shows, it is super clean regulated and safe! Part of the MGM brand this hotel is definitely worth staying in! The rooms are clean , the beds are comfortable, the staff is great! I love this place! One of my favorites in Las Vegas!
  • Reviewing the hotel.... The Mirage was a very comfortable place to stay during a recent business trip. I stayed in a standard 2 queen room, and it was very nice. The beds were very comfortable, and had 4 pillows each. The bathroom was a bit small, but had some nice features like a light above the shower, and great water pressure. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. It was also very cool to walk through the "conservatory" dome lobby every morning while heading to my conference.
  • Our room was really nice. My only complaints regarding the room are that only one side of the bed had an outlet and the bottom of the bath tub had like a gritty texture. I went to give our daughter a bath in it and it kind of scratched her bum. The casino was really nice and there were a lot of nice restaurants and shops. The tram to Treasure Island was a nice amenity. We were disappointed that the main pool was closed for the season but there was no notice of that until the day it closed. I wish we would have known in advance. The other pool they had open was still nice and heated but it got crowded pretty quickly because it’s quite small. Staff said the main pool wouldn’t open again until after the first of the year. The staff was really friendly and we didn’t have any issues with anything.

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
